This revolutionary method of window cleaning is much safer than traditional window cleaning techniques. This is because no ladders are used as all windows are cleaned from ground level. Not only does this have health and safety benefits. Other benefits include…

Only 100% purified water is used, which leaves no water marks, residue or smears on windows or other surfaces.

The water in the lakes contains about 50-60 parts of dirt per million (p.p.m) parts that are clean. This doesn’t make it unsafe to drink but if used on windows can cause them to become streaky or spotted.

The water we use contains 0 p.p.m of dirt. It is 100% clean. This is because it has been passed through a deioniser. This is a canister with a chemical (resin) inside. When tap water is passed through this the dirt and minerals which would otherwise be visible on the glass are held inside the deioniser and the water comes out ready to use 100% clean.

First the water from a tank in our van is pumped up a hose pipe (capable of reaching over 100 metres). Then the water continues up an extendable pole (which is made of Carbon fibre or glass fibre).

Tthe water comes out of jets on a special type of brush attached to the top of the pole. As the pure water comes out the brush can then be applied to the window. This releases any dirt and contaminates.

Finally and most importantly the window is given a final rinse. When this water dries the windows are spot free. As no detergent is used they also will stay cleaner longer.

It is not always practical or necessary to use the Reach and Wash system on every window of every job. This is why we also regularly apply conventional methods of cleaning such as the use of ladders with the traditional bucket and squeegee.

By using our specially designed V-shape ladders we are able to access and clean windows using traditional methods.

We are highly trained and experienced in the use of ladders. We regard safety as the most important factor within our business.

We now use GG4. Glass Gleam-4 is a state-of-the art liquid additive to water, designed for cleaning glass using a squeegee. Extensive field-testing and customer feedback has proven that GG-4 cleans visibly better with less wipe-up time. Professional chemists specifically for glass, developed it.

GG-4 contains a new detergent system allowing improved cleaning and degreasing of the glass. The squeegee drag reduction (slip) is excellent. Other features include low fragrance, optimised foam level, kind to your hands, and a blue colour indicator to reveal that it has been added to the bucket or spray bottle. High-tech polymeric water softeners condition the water to greatly reduce dirt re-deposition.
